Marc Anthony breaks silence after Brooklyn Beckham’s bombshell statement
Marc Anthony has addressed Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding saga. The performer broke his silence and described the family feud as “unfortunate”. It comes three weeks after Brooklynposted a lengthy statement on his Instagram story, revealing his family truths after cutting ties with his famous parents, Sir David Beckham, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51.
At the heart of the six-page Instagram statement, Brooklyn claimed that his mother “hijacked” his first dance with wife Nicola Peltz at their 2022 wedding when Marc, who was performing during the reception, “called me to the stage”.
He went on to claim that his mum “danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,” adding, “I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life”.
The latin crooner, 50, who has been friends with David and Victoria for years, spoke out on the drama, stating the ongoing feud is “extremely unfortunate” but added that it has played out as “hardly the truth”.
“I have nothing to say about what’s happening with the family. They’re a wonderful, wonderful family. I’ve known them since before the kids were born. I’m a godfather to Cruz,” the singer explained, referring to Brooklyn’s younger brother, 20.
