Paulina Gretzky Turns Heads With Vacation Photos Before the Masters
After COVID disrupted the 2020 golf season, the Masters, generally held at Augusta National in mid-April was delayed until September.
The conditions couldn’t have been more ripe for Dustin Johnson, who broke the record set by Tiger Woods in 1997 and tied by Jordan Spieth in 2015 at 18-under for the tournament. Johnson fired a four-under, 68 on Sunday to move to 20-under for the tournament to win his second career major.
“I’m sure a lot of you all think … there were doubts in my mind, just because I had been there. I’m in this position a lot of times,” Johnson said. “When am I going to have the lead and finishing off a major? It definitely proved that I can do it.”
He ended up winning the tournament by five strokes, but hasn’t made much success over the past few years at Augusta. Over the past four years he’s finished t-12, t-48 and missed the cut twice.
He’ll be hoping for a better showing this time around while he’s cheered on by wife Paulina Gretzky. Ahead of the tournament, Gretzky and her friends escaped for a vacation down in St. Barts.
“ ,” she said in the caption of the post on social media.
The post racked up a handful of comments from her friends and followers.
“Thank you p for the best trip! Love youuu❤️,” one person said.
“Congratulations @kmelnichenko you all look stunning!!!! P, knows how to throw a Party!!” offered another.
“the best trip! miss it so much ,” added a third.
The Masters tees off on April 10.
